This wedding was at the United Reform Church, and the reception at The Golf View Hotel in Nairn, my first time shooting one in both venues. Emma and Luke live in London, but Emma’s family are local. The ceremony was conducted by the ever entertaining Rev Steven Manders, who as always, injected his own brand of humour into a fantastic ceremony. It was a very typical Scottish April afternoon, with mixed weather, so I spent most of the day living in hope that we’d get a window of opportunity to shoot outdoors. As ever, the weather gods were listening, and despite it being very windy, and far from tropical, the sun was out long enough for us to get some cool shots on the beach at Nairn. The reception was in a marquee, looking out onto the Moray Firth, a fantastic setting, and a great wedding. Here are a selection of images from the day.
