Lorna and Greg’s wedding photography, Inverness
This time it was Inverness again for the wedding of Lorna Fraser and Greg Wooler. The couple now live in Stirlingshire, but Lorna is originally from the Inverness area. The wedding was at Barn Church, Culloden, with the reception at the Drumossie Hotel, Inverness. We started at Lorna’s parents house at Balloch for some getting ready shots, before heading to the church. We visited Culloden Battlefield after the wedding for some photographs of the bridal party as well as some of Lorna and Greg alone.

What was your favourite moment of the day?
I loved so many different parts of the day. I enjoyed walking down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon and seeing Greg waiting for me at the end. Another highlight was the photo session with John at the Dovecot near the Church and at Leanach Cottage on Culloden Battlefield. Greg and I generally aren’t keen on having our pictures taken but we found it lots of fun and John made it so easy and relaxed. We also loved the journey in the Rolls Royce back to the hotel, just the two of us, sipping champagne and realising that we were now officially married!
What advice would you give to other brides planning their wedding?
The planning and organisation may be hectic in the run up to the wedding but it’s all worthwhile as everything will fall into place on the day. Enjoy your day and make sure you take some time out together to savour the special moment.
