Assynt House Wedding Photography – Caroline & Andy

Recently I photographed my first wedding at Assynt House, Evanton. It is a beautiful location for wedding photography in the Highlands, near Inverness. Caroline Cooper and Andy Knight were married there last month on a beautiful sunny day, with a few rain showers only adding to the dramatic skies I love so much!

Andy is from Thurso so I knew a lot of the guests and bridal party, and it was great to catch up with some old friends I hadn’t seen for many years. Alastair and Elaine Cadzow, and Alisdair and Linda Fleming in particular, who I grew up with as neighbours.

The couple had a very intimate Humanist ceremony and then a more fun ceremony later with the rest of the guests, before enjoying a great reception in the marquee. It was a really fun wedding as the video shows! Lots of entertainment throughout the day.

A great day, and hopefully there will be more weddings to come at this stunning venue.
