Dalhousie Castle Wedding Photography
Last week I was at Dalhousie Castle, near Edinburgh for the wedding of Beatrice Hughes and Michael Costas, who came over from Arizona to get married. The wedding was arranged through Highland Country Weddings. Dalhousie is a great location for a wedding and especially with the amazing weather we had. It was just the happy couple and two friends, so that meant no rushing and stressing over time, just relax and get some nice images!
I did a wedding there on the 19th June John, so its always interesting to see another photographer’s work at the same location and how there eye saw things (not forgetting the dynamics of the couple and the wedding guests of course). That little chapel is gorgeous but also a killer in terms of light direction. Love the shot of the bride in the doorway. The couple in the path in the field – Morag and I were having a bite to eat in the conservatory and I saw that tree and the path and I said “that’s where we want to get them” – but sadly the speeches ran on and we did not get the opportunity – maybe next time.
