Lee Ann & Frannie wedding photography
At the beginning of the month I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of Lee Ann Cameron and Frannie MacPhee at Tain. The couple live in Hertford, but Lee Ann is from Tain and Frannie is from the Western Isles. The wedding was at Lee Ann’s family home, Aspen, where they run Aspen Spa
The wedding was in two parts, with a service in St Mary’s church Inverness on the Thursday, before the main event at Aspen on Saturday, which was a humanist ceremony conducted by Kate Buchanan. Lee Ann got ready at a cottage on Balnagown Estate, where I managed to get lost 3 times after I left them to head to the venue! It was a fantastic wedding, which I really enjoyed. Everyone was so much fun and made me feel part of the family (the poor folk didn’t know any better) and it was definitely another “I love my job” occasion! Saturday was a beautiful (too sunny hehe) but slightly cold day. We managed to get a half hour shoot in Glenmorangie distillery after the wedding which was awesome fun! Thanks to Robert Nicholson who came in on his day off to let us in as well. That was a great gesture.

What advice would you give to other brides planning their wedding?” Hire a wedding planner – Lucy from Premier Wedding Planners in Inverness was worth her weight in gold! Especially if you are having a marquee.”
Was there anything you’d have done differently? “Had the ceremony earlier – it all goes by in a whirlwind!”
Any other stories or comments?” Its all about the shoes! Invest in a special pair that you can wear again…”

And Saturday……
Some stunning images John.
Love the way you’re consistently creative and produce some stunning work.
Plus you must have some serious self control, as the images from the distillery are in focus……
