NNCMC Festival 2010

Last night I was at the annual Country Music Festival, run by the local Northern Nashville Countric Music Club. It’s the 7th year they’ve had the festival, and I’ve been at them all, and they seem to get bigger and better each year. It draws performers and fans from all over the world, with tickets all sold out well in advance. This is the second year that BBC Alba were there filming it for broadcast later in the year. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and the floor was bouncing. last night they had local legends Manson Grant & The Dynamos, then Amber Digby, Leona Williams (both from the USA), and then finished the night with another fairly local band The Jacks, who always steal the show with their upbeat performances which had the whole place going mad. Photographers reading this – see if you can spot the Doug Gordon lookalike on guitar in one of tha bands – uncanny!
