Wedding Photography Inverness – Loch Ness Country House Hotel, Louise and Adrian
This was an incredible day. Several firsts for me, including the first time a bride has piped herself down the aisle and the first time there’s been Star Wars Stormtroopers at a wedding.
Louise Hay and Adrian McBain were married at Loch Ness Country House Hotel, one of my favourite venues. Louise is a musician, and this meant a big emphasis on that side of her life. It was amazing to see her pipe herself down the aisle to suprise Adrian, and despite nerves, she did it brilliantly. It was a real fun day, and this was added to by the appearance of members of the 99th Garrison, a group of Star Wars enthusiasts who spend their time raising money for charity in their costumes. They travelled up from the North East of England and certainly added a talking point to the day. I even ended up in one of the helmets myself. It was a dull day but it stayed dry for us to get out for photographs. The speeches were great, and Adrian delivered one of the funniest groom’s speeches I have ever heard. The music was by The Scone Fairies, the band Louise plays in, so I’m sure a great time was had by all.
Some images from the day…
great pictures John where do the bride and groom come from? they look familiar but why I dont know. could be farming or sheepdog trials but I just cant place them!!
Hi Sheila – we are Inverness based now but I’m from Perthshire originally and Ade’s from Ross-shire. Wouldn’t be farming/sheepdog stuff as we are not involved in that. Love the pics John has done for us!
