Coastguard Helicopter

On Saturday I was delighted to be asked along to photograph the Shetland Coastguard helicopter paying a visit to Caithness. The Scrabster Coastguards and Assynt Mountain Rescue volunteers were there to liase with the helicopter crew. They ran through various drills, using the winch to show how to lift casualties aboard etc. I was delighted to get a trip in the helicopter as well, which was really cool. Thanks to Scrabster Coastguard/Assynt Mountain Rescue for inviting me along, and thanks to the Shetland guys for giving me a spin in  their toy!
