Well, I don’t know where to start with this one…. that’s a lie… Let’s start this story on 27th May 2013, when I drove up to Eilean Donan Castle to capture the proposal.
It was a beautiful story and this was the next chapter, the wedding day! They had, just like that day, chosen a quite stunning location for the day. Aldourie is a spectacular location, set on the banks of Loch Ness, close to Dores. It is such a beautiful, and relaxing location, it is easy to see why it is popular for people booking it as an escape. This wedding was lovely as it not only reunited me with these guys, and allowed me to meet their lovely families, I was also working with some great colleagues. Cheryl and Lucy from Premier Wedding Planners Scotland, Angela Stewart Creative, and many more.
It was a lovely day, and a pleasure to be part of it. The ceremony was beautiful, and the weather was also kind to us. We had some great fun with the photography, including a bit of an incident when Niall and Ambers dad were chased by a swarm of bees after Niall stood on a nest. The screams were echoing around Aldourie for ages. Real men.
After this it was time for the speeches, which were some of the best entertainment in a long time. So many laughs. We managed another mini shoot after dinner and got some cool stuff up on top of the Castle, before we headed down for a great, well rehearsed first dance which had everyone cheering.
