Bunchrew House – Elise and David

Bunchrew House, Inverness was the venue for my last wedding of 2010. After a couple of weeks of heavy snow it was a relief when it cleared up briefly for this wedding. Bunchrew is a lovely venue and in a lovely location on the Beauly Firth, but it can be a cold place on a bad day. It turned out lovely and we were lucky enough to get some time outside for a while after the ceremony. I love winter weddings, providing it’s not blowing a gale or raining. You get lovely colours and the late afternoon skies can be beautiful.

It was a lovely wedding to finish my year off, very relaxed and lots of fun. I had done the pre wedding shoot a few weeks previously at Eden Court and knew we’d have fun. A lovely intimate ceremony was followed by emotional speeches (I cried at David’s) and then THE coolest first dance EVER!  If you’ve seen Pulp Fiction – it was the dance scene from that movie to Chuck Berry’s You Never Can Tell. Absolutely class! Well done both of you :)
