Jan & David, Wick
Last month I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jan Richard and David Gleeson at the Parish Church in Wick. The couple live in Australia now, but Jan is from Wick originally. I’d hoped they’d bring some of the Oz weather over with them, but sadly it was a day of good old Scottish rain, all day. We had hoped to get some outdoor photographs on the day, but the weather put a stop to that. The reception was at Mackays Hotel in Wick, and before we went there we went to Wick Heritage Centre for some photographs. It was a cool location for pictures, amongst all the museum set ups.
I love the way you are using hints of colour in a painterly way now John. Black and white is always beautiful but to work with an element of colour is even more challenging. Brilliant! xx
