The Cow Shed Crail – Wedding Photography

On Saturday I had my very first visit to The Cow Shed, Crail. A very quirky wedding venue in Fife. I’ve been to Fife a few times, and shot a number of weddings along the road in St Andrews, but had never been to Crail. What a beautiful wee village, and we were there on a gorgeous weekend, with July-like temperatures.

I knew Rachel’s dad Graham through SWPP. He’s a great photographer himself, which meant it was a great honour to be chosen, but added a fair amount of pressure….

It was a stunning day, and another one where I was moaning that it was actually too nice :) Shooting the ceremony outdoors in gorgeous sunlight may seem like a great thing to most people, but not us photographers. The ceremony was great fun. Another humanist one, with a good balance of tears and laughter.

Fun with the bridal party

We went to the harbour in Crail for some couple shots, before heading back up to the Cow Shed for an awesome set of speeches and on to the first dance.

Crail is a real quaint wee village

Beautiful part of the harbour. Trying to find some shade.

Congratulations Rachel and Dave!
