Wedding Photography Glasgow – Lisa Hogg and Michael Gardyne

I travelled to Glasgow to photograph the wedding of Lisa Hogg and Michael Gardyne and this was a fantastic day. I love shooting weddings and fashion in Glasgow as the architecture is so good around the city centre. Unfortunately the rain put paid to most of the locations I had chosen the night before. The wedding was at 29 Royal Exchange Square, a venue I had shot at before, and a great wedding location. Lisa was getting her make up done with the bridesmaids when we arrived, and I immediately loved the part of the venue they were in.  The whole day was very relaxed and laid back, with loads of laughter and emotion thrown in. The rain allowed us a short session outside after the ceremony, and we got some nice pictures nearby before heading back indoors. We managed to do some cool indoor shots as well. The entire shoot was a great laugh.  It was lovely to be so far away from home, yet catch up with a load of people I know. I ended up back at the reception after I’d been back to the hotel to download and back up the images, and had a great night with everyone. What a great day! Lisa and Michael have become good friends in recent months, and despite Michael moving from Ross County to Dundee United, I am hoping we will remain in contact and I am planning going to see a game or two this season.
