Wedding Photography Roshven House – Colleen and Steve

My first ever visit to Roshven House, up near Mallaig for this wedding, the chosen venue of Colleen and Steve. What an amazing location, and an insprirational drive over there through some of the most amazing scenery in Scotland. I was blown away. And the weather for the end of September was hard to believe. Not just sunny, but warm as well. The couple had travelled through from the East Coast but Colleen and her family were from the local area. I always enjoy shooting small, intimate weddings, and this was one certainly that. Lots of tears, laughter and smiles all day and long into the night. Everything was taking place in the same location which is always great. Started the day with the girls in the cottage getting ready, where the comedy was priceless. We then had a very intimate and emotional ceremony (yes possibly a tear in my eye), before heading out to enjoy some photography with one of the most spectacular backdrops possible! Then it was into the marquee for some hilarious speeches before the dance kicked off and everyone had a good time. What a great location and a fab day!
