Loch Ness Country House Wedding Photography – Caroline and Derek

A quick return to Loch Ness Country House Hotel for the second wedding on the trot, and this time it was the turn of Caroline and Derek to tie the knot. With an outdoor ceremony on the cards, we really needed the weather to be kind, and it certainly didn’t let us down, as it was one of the warmest days I shot a wedding on all year. I’d say it was too sunny, but with recent weather, I don’t think I will ever complain about sunny weather again as long as I live. We started off with Caroline and the girls getting make up done by the lovely Sam Johnston, which was great fun, with everyone in top form. We then had a beautiful ceremony out on the lawn at LNCHH, made all the sweeter by the bride being played down the aisle with her dad to the theme music, Cavatina, from my all time favourite movie The Deerhunter, played beautifully on classic guitar. A beautiful and romantic ceremony followed, before we headed off to the banks of Loch Ness to take some photographs of the couple. We then went back to the hotel, where everyone was enjoying the sunshine.
