Wedding at Crieff Hydro

Sheila Peters and Allan Common from Glenmoriston were married at Crieff Hydro last month, and I was lucky enough to photograph their big day. I arrived on the Friday to shoot a Ceilidh they had put on. The couple play in a Ceilidh band, so this would be a big part of the weekend, with Sheilas dress being made in tartan, with musical notes included in the design. It was a fantastic weekend, with lots of fun and laughter, especially in the company of the barmy bridesmaids (and the sensible one). The wedding was shot about 90% in PJ style, with less posed shots than I normally do, so it was a slightly different challenge, but very enjoyable.

I had a bit of a late night adventure on the Saturday, when my hotel room managed to lock me out and nobody could get in until eventually a porter broke in with specialised equipment (crowbar and big hammer).

Here’s a few images from the day.
