Wedding Photography Glasgow and Loch Lomond

Wedding Photography Glasgow and Loch Lomond

Another visit to Glasgow for this wedding as Nicola and Paul prepared for their big day. The wedding was at St Aloysius Church in the city centre, before we went over to Loch Lomond Golf Club for the reception. It was a beautiful day, despite a couple of heavy showers just as the bridal party were arriving at church. Another chance to work with the amazing Rosewood Cakes and my fave wedding band Bahookie!

May turned out to be a great month, because as well as the cycling events, I had a huge success in the BIPP Scottish Regional Awards. It was definitely worth a trip to Glasgow

2015 Comes To An End – Photographic and Personal Highlights

Well, that’s another year completed. It has been quite a year, on a photographic and personal level, there were some pretty epic times. Numerous weddings throughout Scotland and many commercial shoots, a photographic trip to Gambia, two live wedding proposals, tonnes of charity work, 4500 miles on a bicycle, and much more. I hope to go through some of the best bits here, so here goes!

Sharyl and Paul – Wedding Photographer Glasgow

Sharyl and Paul – Wedding Photographer Glasgow

This was my first time shooting at the wonderful Ingliston Country Club, just outside Glasgow. Well, apart from the pre wedding shoot I did with the couple, a week or two prior. It really is a fantastic venue for a wedding, regardless of whether you are into equestrian things or not. If you are a horse lover, then it is perfect! Sharyl and Paul had chosen this venue for their lovely, intimate wedding, and I started the day with the girls down at a chalet on the estate where they…

Achnagairn Wedding Photography – Donna and Allan

Achnagairn Wedding Photography – Donna and Allan

A local wedding for me again at the stunning Achnagairn along the road from me. Donna and Allan are from Caithness but chose to get married at this awesome venue. The day started for me with the guys doing some clay pigeon shooting in the gardens before heading upstairs to get some shots of the girls getting make up and hair done. We then had a lovely outdoor ceremony in the sunshine. The photo session in the grounds was great fun, before we had some emotional speeches, followed by the…

Atholl Palace Wedding Photography – Amy and Stuart

Atholl Palace Wedding Photography – Amy and Stuart

This was my first wedding at the stunning Atholl Palace, in Pitlochry. I met Amy and Stuart for a pre wedding shoot prior to the wedding, at Ruthven Barracks and had a great shoot, so knew we’d have fun on the day. We started with Amy and her party getting ready at the Palace before we had a lovely, emotional humanist ceremony. We then managed to get some photography done outside, depsite the weather being slightly dodgy, before heading in for the reception. Another great day and a brilliant location…

Loch Ness Country House Hotel – Leanne & Garry

Loch Ness Country House Hotel – Leanne & Garry

Another beautiful summer wedding, on the longest day of the year, at one of my favourite venues. Leanne and Garry chose Loch Ness Country House Hotel for their wedding, and what a day this was. We started the day at Leanne’s parents house as she and her bridesmaids had their make up done, and got ready. There were loads of laughs and tears and I had a feeling this was going to be a great day. I love photographing weddings when there are so many emotions ondisplay and this one…

Bunchrew House Wedding Photography – Faye & Ryan

Bunchrew House Wedding Photography – Faye & Ryan

Faye and Ryan chose the lovely setting of Bunchrew House Hotel for their wedding and they couldn’t have picked a better day for it. One of the hottest days of the year, which really showed this venue off against the Beauly Firth. I started at Bunchrew for the arrivals and then we had a lovely ceremony on the lawn, before setting off to do some photography around the grounds.   w

Loch Ness Country House Wedding – Kat and Paul

Another wedding at one of the most popular locations in the Inverness area, Loch Ness Country House Hotel. Kat and Paul chose the hotel for their very intimate wedding recently. A great day, and here are some images.
