Commercial Photographer Inverness – Post Office Long Service Award Kylesku

A HIGHLAND sub-postmistress is celebrating 60 years’ service with the Post Office – and she still has no plans to retire.

Esther Brauer, 82, of Kylesku Post Office,received a Long Service Award  from the Post Office recently.

Esther began work in 1953 – the year of the Queen’s Coronation – first working from a Post Office that was part of her house, and for the past 31 years she has worked from an 8ft by 6ft hut in her garden.
